Ⅱ. Advantages and conditions
The project is located in the residential area of the North of Jimei, a new area which Jimei District is exerting its strength to construct and develop. There is the largest modern indoor gym, Jiageng Gymnasium, with the most perfect facilities, the first theme park in Xiamen -Eastern Amusement Island, the models of Xiamen’s residential district: Da Tang Shi Jia and University Bay and the commercial network and cultural facilities planed in a high level,starting It’s under 1,000 meters from the world famous Jimei Schools village; 800 meters from the industrial economic center - the North of Jimei, which is covering the area of 6 square kilometers, 1,200 meters from the most important scenic spot in Xiamen - Tan Kah-kee Momorial Famous Scenic Spot, and 3,000 meters from Jimei University Town where the famous national colleges swarm like bees, covering 28 square kilometers. What’s more, there is only 200-meter distance between this site and the East Sea of Xiamen. Good ecological environment with the sea breeze, surging waves, blue sky and clear wind, makes it fitting to set up a hotel for both business and holidays. At present, There are only 3-start hotels in Jimei, accounting for only 5% of the whole city, most of which are 2-3 star. It does not match with the developing level of Jimei’s economics and tourism. As a result, a great number of tourists have to go to stay In the hotels in the other districts. Therefore, the building of this hotel in Jimei will be a success by seizing the opportunity and fill up the vacancy.
Ⅲ. The scope and contents
The project covers 11,637 square meters with 29,092 square meters of the construction
foor. There will be 16 storeys with about 300 guest room in the hotel. It may be used as business, conference, entertainment, accommodation, etc.
Ⅳ. Overall investment estimation
Overall investment: 2,000 US dollars (foreign investment)
Investment estimation: The investment is composed of the charge of the land, construction fees, decoration fees, facility fees and so on. Keeping in line with Xiamen’s relevant standard of the construction and the building cost, with reference to the investment of the similar projects, the investment is estimated as follows:

Perfect existing infrastructure: the sewage treatment; water, power supply and communication installed ; Lehai Road (42-meter wide) passing by; a road (82-meter wide) to Jimei University Town on the way; 23-minute-bus ride from the hotel to Jimei Schools Village and Tan Kah-kee Momorial famous Spot with Lehai Road connecting to Xunjiang Road and Jiyuan Road.
Ⅶ. Analysis of the social and economic benefits
The market aims at business travellers, turists and the visitors of education, culture and sports. The yearly revenue includes such external business gaining as entertainment,
accommodation, merchandise and business service, besides the guest rooms ( the attached table). It will have considerable yearly revenue and high anti-risk capacity. The static and dynamic payoff periods will be 6.6 and 9.5 years respectively.
